What is your favorite idiom proverb or saying?

Lesson Activities

Hello, my name is Cruz. I'm from Argentina. My question is, what is your favorite idiom, proverb, or saying?

Well, my favorite saying is “nothing ventured, nothing gained,” which means if you don't take any chances or risks, you won't gain anything. So whenever you want to get something in your life, you will have to take action.

No matter what people say, no matter your fears, no matter rejection, no matter things getting a little hard, there's no way things will happen just by staying home, lying in your bed.

So, you have to take things which are risky or which might be hard for you, or you might lose something, but it is the only way you can get to your goals.
