Hi. My name is Eulices and I'm from Costa Rica. My question is what are the advantages of being bilingual?

In 2020, being bilingual is a necessity for anyone who wants to work in the field of technology, and even for socializing with people in other countries. English has become the unofficial global language in a way because most of the world speaks English even if they are from India, Europe, even Asia and South America.

A second language, if your mother language is English, is also important because it will help you understand different cultures and it will get you in contact with different parts of the world where they speak languages like Chinese, Indian, or Portuguese, which is what they speak in Brazil. It's very interesting to learn different languages and it's a way to know their cultures better also.
